Brand Strategy

Strategy work from a designer’s perspective has exposed me to exploring the more verbal side of my brain. In art school I always enjoyed writing my artist statements and of course wrote all my own copy for design projects. I jumped at the chances in my professional to flex my creative brain in a different way, a non-visual way. Messaging like design is an art form and the dictionary, metaphor, symbolism are a strategist’s tools. These are some of my favorite projects where I contributed writing, concept development, and yes, design.

REGIONAL BRAND PLAYBOOK

A tool for Greater Sacramento’s boosters: this part pep talk, part strategy, part economic development accelerator reflects the different ways people (and places) communicate: through stories, through symbols, and through action in particular for the Greater Sacramento Region.

This engagement guide acts as a language toolkit for conversations on behalf of the Jewish Community Endowment Fund with existing and prospective donors.
